What Can You Expect From Me?

3 Things To Anticipate In The Months To Come

I’ll keep this one short. I’d love if you’d read this post in its entirety as I want to manage your expectations.

Let me make something clear from the get-go:

  • this newsletter and website are my playground,

  • I aim to post anything that’s of interest for me,

  • I believe it will bring you value as well (that’s why I want to share things in public).

Hence, you can expect from me:

Variety

You can anticipate variety of topics. I’ll be publishing about things near-and-dear to me:

  • Productivity tips,

  • Consumerism and minimalism,

  • Interesting books that I read (mostly from the self-help, philosophy, work ethics and personal development genres),

  • General observations about what’s happening around,

  • Backstage thoughts on building one’s career in networking industry,

  • My journey to pivot towards Cloud Engineering,

  • …and more.

Bottom line - if you subscribe to michalak.net, you essentially subscribe to me. This is the place where I want to store and share my best pieces and insights.

I know not everything may resonate with you.

Dynamism

You will see this platform evolve as I continue publishing.

I’m going to experiment with a lot of things.
For example: writing style, graphic design, topics that I want to cover.

This place is going to be dynamic.
The creative process is always messy.

I invite you to embrace this spirit of play and embark on this journey with me.
Maybe some of the tools or techniques will resonate with you as well.

Pacing

There will be no rigid publishing schedule.

I’ll write whenever I have anything of value to say.
Therefore, you may see couple posts in one week.
And then nothing for a week or two (or three).

I’ll see you in the next one!

Thanks for reading,
Damian

P.S. I’ve written this text at the end of short, 4-day retreat in Kudowa-Zdrój in Poland. If you ever look for a quiet place to stay and gather your thoughts, I cannot recommend it enough. Disclaimer: I have no business relation with the place - I found it myself and genuinely enjoyed it.
